Join Shed 5 as we celebrate SPRINGS arrival at the
waterfront! This year as one of our Spring Carnival celebration events we
are hosting a Melbourne Cup
Luncheon ,Tuesday 3rd November. Join us for a four course
luncheon with a glass of Gosset Champagne. Tables of ten at $100. per person.
We will have all day entertainment up till and after the big race. On site TAB
, large screens and of course fashion in the field and spot prizes. You could
end up in the winners circle yourself.
The menu
is a superb blend of delights from beneath the sea and from across the land.
Tour a world of flavour on a fork, Ciabatta with truffle mushroom mascarpone,
santagata extra virgin olive oil and Saparoso balsamic. Fresh Oysters served
natural with prelibato white balsamic caviar and tempura with champagne lime
aioli . Acai Berry Sorbet with cassis bubbles. Alaskan King Crab ravioli with
crispy prosciutto and shellfish beurre blanc, white asparagus. Seared Atlantic
scallop with picon blue risotto, wasabi tobiko, baby greens. Slow cooked duck
leg with white truffle parsnip, pinot noir jus, fig jam and to finish
Vanilla-bean lemoncello cheesecake with citrus pearls and lemon sherbet sorbet.
During the day we will be constantly judging fashion in
the field and this will culminate at 4.00 pm with the final run off for the
